You need to buy aftermarket hardened pushrods with any cam swap. If you decide to do oil pump, timing chain, that means dropping the oil pan, and on 4x4 means removing the front diff to do so...

you don't need to fully remove the pan, but that does make it easier. I just removed the two oil pan bolts that thread into the timing cover. I just loosened the rest of the oil pan bolts half way to where I could unbolt the pickup tube from the pump. If you do the oil pump, make sure you use the correct o-ring. and make sure the oil pan is in PERFECTLY straight and not hanging past the block. I'd personally change the pump and timing chain while you're in there because its cheap. but its not necessary.
