Yeah I keep checking there for cams and such. There's a few 220s and 228s on there, but mostly larger 24x/25x or bigger cams for sale. Keep your eyes out on there and over on tech. Tons of parts being sold there all the time.

What were you looking at for the RCSB before you got the 6.hoe or did you not even look?

Somewhere around a 212/218 216/220 and possibly a 220/220. All depends on how big you wanna go. Everything else staying stockish, 220/220 would be max unless you were upgrading other parts imo.

Yeah I'm no cam spec expert but like a 218/220 .58x .58x 112 on lsl's sounds like it would be a sweet cam in a manual 4.8 with headers and TBSS intake.

:babeh: Overlap will determine choppy.
Will also depend on tune and how low you want (can live with) the idle.

Since you guys are manual you'd probably have some fun with a 2step hooked up to clutch pedal.

Aha this thread.
Dyno tune IMO.
2 step holds your rpm steady (wherever you dial it in) when you hold the clutch in and floor the gas, so you can get near consistent launches every time. Then true 2-step has no lift shift so you keep it matted when you shift.
Can also help build boost on launch.
Many people just get them to sound cool and intimidating on the line though, haha.

Fuck mail order tune if you cam.
I dislike them regardless.

Dyno should be only used to help WOT tuning.
Street tune it, then have your tuner dyno it to dial in the WOT.
And what shredsled said about idle lope. Overlap is the major player. Google search the formula to determine overlap i forgot it. Apply that formula to any cam specs and youll be able to get an idea.
