VLED switchback issues

I'm on my second set of switchbacks since when I was in the oilfield the switchbacks would rattle around from lease roads, some of the little led pieces would come off and caused it not to be as bright or just be a dead row of leds. Anyways I've been noticing that on these second set of switchbacks are starting to be not as bright as well. There's no missing little led pieces and when I go to okc almost of of them will be fully working. Most of the time a have a row that works and other half is just half ass lit or even sometimes the top bulb doesn't even come on. Has anyone else ran into this problem with them?

Loose solder connection. Are those a warranty replacement? If not, did you buy them a year ago?

I'd try for the warranty process, and honestly, I'd consider VLED Triton's. $$$$ But Lifetime warranty. I only got to enjoy mine for about 6 months on my last truck though... damn thieves.

I feel like in an environment like you're in, with all of the vibrations and everything, it's literally shaking the bulbs apart. Reason I'm suggesting the Tritons is because of how they're built. I doubt they'd have the issue you're seeing here, plus the lifetime warranty.

They also dim when your headlights are on as a cool bonus feature (if you choose to wire it up) and they're SO much brighter than your current switchbacks. I always found my amber was a little dim, but didn't have an issue with the Triton's. Oh, and you can adjust them to help light spread in the reflectors.

Thanks guys. I may try to order new housings for it over the summer and probably rewire everything. I thought about the Tritons, but those are hella expensive and I feel like I'm going to sell wookiemax before the year is over. These are over the year mark and I tried contacting VLED's about warranty work and told me I was a month late. So I may do ebay specials when I rewire everything.

Had issues with mine too but I rewired my DRL to PRK light conversion the right way with 4 brand new sockets, soldering and shrink wrap then tapped the bulbs into the sockets with electrical tape like Cornell did in his CC thread, got a heavy duty flasher relay from autozone and bam no more issues
