Like the interior. So it's done it a few times before like water will leak thru the sunroof if I go thru the car wash or occasionally while driving in heavy rain. But I went out for break today and the whole drivers side of the headliner is soaked and dripping all over my seats.. I check to make sure all windows where closed and felt around to see if any seals had been moved or something obvious but no luck. When I pulled the plastic piece covering the seat belt shit right where the two doors meet a ton of water spilled out, so it's leaking pretty good...

I'm thinking it's the sunroof, but i just am curious as to if anyone else has had this issue or if my truck is just a piece of shit

I should have mentioned the my truck was parked slightly up hill when this happened. Had to hit the brakes hard last night and water came smoothing out of the headliner lol. I've heard someone else mention the sunroof drain. Where is it? Is the headliner a bitch to get out? Thanks fellas

easiest way is to pull rear window iirc

Pull the rear window..? Fuck that lol dammit this sucks. I've had it leak all over too from time to time. Coming over the mountains one year it leaked thru the windshield, or it looked like that where it was because it was dripping wet on the front right side by the visor... But now it's dumping water where the doors meet, like a lot. Whatever is leaking is allowing a lot of water in, not just a few drops. Good thing it only rains here like all year

for CC, with ec you recline the front seats all the way and push them back as far as possible and you can wiggle it out iirc

Thinking it may be the antenna for my XM radio causing it to leak... Also noticed all the arms on my sunroof are cracked and almost broken. Am I that unreasonable for expecting a lot better quality from a 2007? Shit seems ridiculous

the sat radio shouldnt be it it has a double sided tape and a little gasket thing to keep it from leaking, if the arms are cracked on the sunroof then its prolly not pulling it tight enough on the seals and letting the arms flex instead.

This. Which would explain water coming in when you were braking hard the other day.

This really makes me not want a sunroof truck :scared:

Sent from TapaTwat

I have two vehicles older than his with sunroofs, 05 Jetta and 99 grand Cherokee, no leaks at all

Check drains and fix whatever arms you're taking about.
