but that is a reg TB verter...out of a 4.2L model...5.3 and TBSS verters wont be any diff than our current verters....flashes to 2500, brake stall to 26-2700. Bolts right up, no need for retune or anything. One I got came out of an 04, supposed to be the loosest out of 02-whatev yr they stopped making them.

if u hold brake/gas u can probably get ur RPMs up to 1800-2000....with the 4.2L TB unit, u can get up to 2500. Your RPMs wont drop as much at WOT shift either, thus keeping the motor in its sweet spot. Once the verter locks up in 4th gear, its the same as stock....RPMs drop to cruising speeds and ur back in :sneaky: mode

Not trying to be a smart ass at all, but why wouldn't you just spend the extra couple bucks an upgrade to the circle be 3200 stall since you already have everything taken apart anyways instead of just getting minimal gains from a trailblazer converter

Not everyone wants or needs a big stall. For a dd I want a small stall. 3200 Max. Circle d is about $400. Mexiflip paid like $50 for the converter. Better overall than stock. Won't kill mpg. And his cam is on the small side so no need for a big stall.

Heard this stall wasn't worth the trouble? But I've wanted to do one for a while. Seem worth the hassle of swapping it? I'd be on a stock cam till I decide on if I want to do a 212/218 or not.

Ah ok, never did much research on circle d, when I bought mine everybody was all about yank. But no complaints, mine drives just like stock under normal driving conditions, but still has a good flash and stalls close to 3k.
