I get 89 plus right now, usually from WaWa (East coast thing) because they don't charge extra for using a card, and there are two of them within 5mins of my house. Even though there are rumors of their gas being shitty and 'watered down'. I always fill up, run to around 1/4 tank, fill up, hand calc mpgs each time

Not sure on price, but I'll find out when I fill up today

The gas thread

I've never had a problem with Wawas gas. It's usually one of the cheapest around. Justin didn't seem to have any issues with it when he did my tune so I assume it's ok.

Edit: as far as habits, I fill it up every Friday at lunch, usually between a 1/4-1/2 tank and less than $50, hand calc mileage.

93 octane from Sunoco all day. If there isnt a Sunoco around (which would be rare in NY) there is always a mobil. only time ive gotten anything besides Sunoco in the past 3 years was Hess once in NJ and maybe a Mobil on the highway.

I buy dezol. ANd I find a huge difference buying dezol from some ma and pa shop compared to a larger chain. I only buy from Husky Fuels (Sunoco). Less knock and much better fuel millage.

I also run Diesel Kleen and 250ml of 2 stoke in each tank.

i run 87 octane normally. i will put some marvel mystery oil in the tank about once a month, to lube the pump. 163k on the original pump. so im on barrowed time.

before i drove to NY i put 93 octane in the truck, and i think i did get a touch better mileage, but not 100% on that.

Just ran whatever in the white truck, Run Exxon/Mobil 93 in the Denali. Has been around 3.30-3.40 lately but my dad worked for exxon so he gets a little discount, i pay him the discounted price and then pump until what it would normally cost

I run 89 usually from Wawa. I have a BB tune for it. When I got the tune I was running 87 from wawa and Justin said it was running like I fueled with 89 so I always go there. I Do see and hear a difference if I fuel somewhere else.

I run 93 because im tuned for it and it sucks. avoid it if you can. I get 290mi out of a tank and it costs me $75-$80 to fill up, shits too expensive. always try for exxon or valero (unless there is a motherfuckingawesome QT around), I have gotten 2 bad tanks of gss from shell, so never buying from them again.

<-- needs a retune

I run 93 bc turbo. Ran 93 in my TBSS as well. Sucks because 87 is super low and the 93 is usually fifty cents more.
