I need some help ASAP! First and foremost, any help will be greatly appreciated and sorry if it's a FAQ. I tested fitted a extra wheel I had laying around on my truck and need some help/info on how much to shorten the rear end.

You have to rotate the the ends of the axle tubes to get the caliper to clear the leafs. You will be able to leave the pinch in the bedsides and not rub.

Do you know at what degree would the axle ends have to be rotated? By pinch do you mean the piece of a fender that you can roll/pull ?

Last one I did on leafs was rotated 30 degrees up. The pinch is the sheetmetal that is usually rolled to clear tires

Thanks a lot for the help man, I appreciate it! Since mine is fiberglass I'm thinking of trimming the pinche to bring the tire/wheel as close to the bedsides.

If I'm reading that correct, you want the bedside close to the wheels.

Trimming the pinch would make the wheel look further away from the bedside.

Correct, I'm thinking of running a spacer depending how many mm there's left of a gap.

If you're clearing the fender lip, use spacers to flush it up some.

If you have to option to not cut or trim that pinch, take it. Seen a lot of flimsy bed sides because of it.

Yeah, I wanted that flush look on the rear . Thanks for the reference, would you happen to have a side shot of the rear wheel?

I run 22x10 on my truck, 4.75" Backspace and cut 2.5" per side. With your added backspace, I would cut 3-3.25 inch per side. I rotated my tubes 20 degrees to clear my brakes, however I have dual piston rears. My truck is a fleetside. We can give you all the advice you need, however your gonna want to get in there and measure for yourself

I was hoping you would chime in since you do have a similar set-up. Yeah I've been measuring, measuring, and measuring. I want everything to just run smooth and not go back and fix/trim stuff again. Dude your truck is amazing!

8.5 is a def the right choice. IMO 22's are a perfect fit for a NBS style truck, but if you want 24s go for it. Just make sure you nail the backspacing. I measured mine and its PERFECT, very tight to bedside, but doesn't rub. Ive seen a few cut trucks that have like .5-1" of clearance from bed, but to mean they look funny, wheels are to far sucked in
