2005 Sierra Crewcab. Wanting to move rear seat forward about 2".

Does anyone have any first hand experience, links, or know anyone who has done this before?

Always wanted behind the seat sub enclosure. To lazy to build build/tune the box.
Friend sold his crew cab he built an enclosure properly tuned with proper air space for 4 8" subs, only complaint is that the subs hit the back seat during excursion and its hard to fold the seats back straight up. DNW

Iv read about people just re-drilling the holes to relocate which i don't mind doing, but every thread iv read its never finished or followed through to know 100% if it worked correctly.

Dont care if i lose 2" foot room no one rides in the back anyway, if someone does its their problem.

Thanks in advance

Then magically fit an SA12 in there that doesn't touch the seat back, at all

some guy allegedly did that on gmfs...I didn't see how tho cuz the brackets aren't straight and the middle seat belt buckle bracket isn't long enough to redrill :) Atleast not enough to move it more than 1"

That seems simple enough. I don't have a CC or I'd try lol. All of my mounts in my ext cab are changed though it wasn't hard to do

:nerd: I didn't do that cuz dnw to lose head space...but did entertain that possibility. U don't gain much room by going up vs fwd....so that guy did 3" up, 1.5" forward. I just went forward...no up.

DNW to go up, for i have no need to. The box is built for behind the seat already.

Eddie how did you do yours? Flip the brackets to move it forward that much? I really dont need to move it that much forward.
