Painting my father in laws 1975 corvette t-tops today. Its not a truck but the color is from a 2008 and up truck paint code, dark cherry metallic, wa519q.
t-tops rebuilt with all new hardware and seals, ready for paint
Used a hi-build primer to get rid of any imperfections
Dark Cherry metallic using DuPont Chromabase
4 coats of Dupont Chromapremier clear
Gonna let them dry overnight, have to color sand and buff it out to be perfect
