project car! (in need of deep pockets)

Well saturday i got me a "little" fixer upper, its a 1953 Chrysler New Yorker with a 331 Hemi. The price was right (FREE) but i need some deep pockets to get this motor running again. Shes been sitting for 4 years at the house i got it from and idk how long at the house he got it from.... The motors locked up so i started to rip apart the motor since she gotta come out, so far got the valve covers and intake manifold off. Im gonna leave the body the way she is cause i think its just bad ass and im gonna bag her with black steelies, white walls, and the bullet center caps to cover the hubs. I know everyones says she got 2 to many doors but whatever 4 doors more whores!

 
before you rip the motor out, pull out the spark plugs and put trans fluid into the cylinders. Let it sit, then with a big breaker bar, try to get the engine to turn over with the bolt on the crank, not too hard you dont want to snap it. you can try to get it to move a little each way, eventually you should be able to get it to turn over. we did this to a 305 that sat outside for like 10 years, and it runs now

Dad did the same thing to a caddy my uncle picked up a few years ago. Still runs like a champ to this day.

already did that let her sit all day sat and half a day sunday, shit didnt even budge
 
I just reserved my plate for the 53 today! just gotta get the bitch running now, taking the heads off tonight since i just got back from the beach.

 
Well this bitch is expsensive, by the time im done with the motor ill have about 6K into it all because its a damn Hemi, so0o what my cheap ass is doin is a buddy of mine who deals with Hemis offered me a trade.... My non runnming locked up motor for a 350 smallblock chevy with trans that runs and is ready to drop in and start cruising, wanted to keep the 331 but just aint gonna be worth it when i can add alot more to the 350, think im gonna do the trade.... what would you guys do?
