i use and love power cones. Just dont go too fast or the glue will heat up and the pad will fly off.

this...I used a cone and was bamf....also used adams blue metal polishing pad for flat surfaces. I bought a $15 corded drill from HF for when I wanted fast polishing.

a full detail you should be able to do it with one pad of the color needed.

if the paint is really fucked up you may need 2 of each color

Werd. I may be using too much polish then as the pads seem to get gunked up sometimes.

I've done a vehicle with one pad per step but it sucked, was cleaning the pad a ton and could tell it was not correcting much. I've been doing (1-2) 3.5" pads and (1) 7" pad per step now and that seems to be working well.

I have wolfgangs sealant 3.0 on my truck:

1- it looks better than adams paste wax and almost as good as blackfire midnight sun
2- its been on about 4 months and water still beads and the salt has not seemed to effect it

Its going on really easy, comes off really easy, and is holding up very well.

10/10 would buy again

Sonax polymer net shield is my new favorite. Even over the coating I have on. Might be the only sealant I buy again good gloss but how it reacts to water is crazy
