would that wide angle fit on a canon lense?

it might depends on what size your canon lens it. Do you have a UV filter/lens protector on yours now? it should have the size in mm

the back of my lense cover says e-58mm

I just tried it on my Rebel XTi which is a 58mm as well, it won't fit without purchasing an adapter. The Bower comes with a 46mm to 52mm adapter, would need to find one that fit a 58mm...

it's nice, I'd keep it but it doesnt fit any of my other lenses
