As if i didn't miss my friggin Blazer enough, you come in here with this eye candy... :clarksonbird:

I had a black 05 2dr 4x4 5spd. On the fence between lowering or lifting it when I traded it in for my 06 Sierra. The not being able to decide whether to lower or lift it thing is a common theme for me btw... Lol

Sweet! I followed all of you as well.

@oktain When in doubt, always lower it! I'm currently searching for a single cab 98+ 4x4 s10 for my next project.

DAMN, this is a sweet blazer, always have liked the s10's when done up right like this one. Problem is most I see now are all haggard, so props to you for having a clean one.

Haha thats awesome! A SAS would be a blast to build, but I would also like a prerunner Xtreme, or a lowered crew cab etc. Probably why I love S-Series so much. They are so versatile. Haha

Ive already got a bravada front differential and all of the shafts, a bw4472 (Fulltime awd transfer case out of a Sy/Ty, Astro, Bravada.) That I plan on swapping into that single cab 4x4 S10 when I find one, then after coilovers and a slight body drop I should have a low ass awd S10 lol Or at least thats the plan currently. We all know how plans change lol.

As for the Blazer I hope to finish the intake manifold gasket this weekend if everything goes according to plan and then it will be sent off to get painted. Still waiting on some misc interior parts unfortunately.

Still haven't got my intake manifold gasket done. I would like to do it in one day but I can't seem to get the time to work on it. Only bits and pieces every once in a while. Anyways I did get my interior most of the way done. Just waiting on the materiel for my rear seat and I need to blow the console apart to make a cubby for the single din CD player.

Anyways on to pics. New colormatched wheel and Shift knob.

Hard to believe a couple months ago it looked like this lol

Looks so good both ways imo. Those red seats are killer.

Thanks man! I really liked the red also but it won't match the color I'm painting the blazer unfortunately.

Been extremely busy with wedding shit, looking at houses and my great aunt has been in and out of the hospital but I FINALLY got some time in the garage late last night. Gasket is swapped and the intake and distributor are back in. I'm going to do the valve cover gaskets tonight and finish the rest up Tuesday I hope. Cant wait to drive this again... All the way to the body shop.

Got the valve cover gaskets replaced and put new plugs in. Everything looks pretty normal for 170,000 miles or so.

170,000 miles

53,000 miles lol

Clean valve cover vs dirty valve cover. Idk how people let stuff get this dirty. Cleaned everything up best I could but I'm going to focus my attention to my spare low mileage 4.3 and clean it up really well.

Also got my new center caps in and cleaned up the wheel that was off because I was bored lol I know this is looked down upon, meh. Fuck it, its a daily driver lol

I got the top of the motor back together and put in new wires just because.

Changed the oil and added some antifreeze and drove it to work yesterday.

My fiancé and I went to a car show yesterday out on the river, she took this on the way home

And then I dropped the blazer off for paint. The guy that's painting it also has a Impala the same color.... It is gorgeous! Pictures don't do the color justice.

So that's it for now. Ill update once its out of paint and at the shop getting the front cranked down!

Been a long ass time since I've gotten on here or updated this thread. Honestly kind of forgotten about forums for a while as I had a lot going on in life and unfortunately my blazer got the backseat for a while. S10f is pretty much a ghost town anymore, hopefully this place is having some traffic. I miss seeing crazy builds online.

Anyways here in the last month or so I have been able to really get a lot done so here goes in no particular order.

Bought new "real" wheels BBS style 42s 18x8 and 18x9

Broke them down and they are getting powdercoated and polished

They will look like this when done

Ordered the correct taillights from Brazil only took just short of two years

Got 95% of it back from paint. No more rust which is super nice. The hood, tailgate and rear bumper cover had some issues

Put the interior back together. Still waiting on my back seat but other than that it is 100% finished.

Starting to clean up wheel wells and brakes from overspray

Dropped lower ball joints and adjusted coilovers for more low

Standard Bj vs .5" vs 1"

So yeah. Hoping to have it back together in a month or so.
