Hey Everyone,

Wanted to quick introduce myself. The name's Kyle and I am a new truck owner. I have merged through the years starting with honda's, then Jeeps, then cars with more power. I have finally been able to get my hands on my dream truck, a 2005 Silverado 1500 4x4 Crew Cab, and am in the process of giving it some of my personality. I have always been an advocate of never over-do it. Ill probably do a build thread eventually once I have some items worth sharing, but I digress. I am looking forward to meeting and greeting with some of you. Glad to be here.

Thanks
Kyle

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Ill get some pics of my old cars tomorrow for ya. Future plans are kinda simple yet complicated. I want to give the truck a sport look without copying the SS, instead make it my own version while keeping it versitile for my needs and the enviornment of where i live.

So with that being said here are my short term plans-
-2/4 drop
-Blacked out bumpers
-stock standard mirrors
-running board removal
-side molding removal
-mud flap removal
-06 front end swap
-projector headlights
- and 20-22" factory looking wheels

I like pictures of cars with more power...

Looks like a clean starting point. If you want 2/4, I say go 3/5. Better stance and still plenty of clearance to go wherever you need to go.

Belltech 2508 17+ spindles, decrank stock keys for another inch and a flip kit with a lift shackle in the rear.

This plus once you go low you will want to go lower, ask Jared. Truck looks like a clean starting point, reminds me of my 04 when I got it.

Still have the STi? That thing looks sick! I would love to read a build thread if you have a link to one.

I had an 02 and now currently have a 13 wrx. They're great cars.

Thanks everyone. The STi is long gone. And civic was sold to some guy from Kentucky. Not gonna lie out of all the cars I owned I miss my MR2. That car was a blast to drive. Even thought the STi was probably the fastest I still would take the MR2 anyday again. I may get another one. Gotta sell a couple other toys though I am running out of room.

Dyno Video of my STi - 4th gear tune. Low Boost 12psi. I cant find the video of the High boost pass (26psi)
