2004 Chevy 1500 Silvy ECRB 4x4 LT. Just under 112,500 miles on it when I drove off in it. It has everything except leather, sunroof and digital HVAC controls. Truck came with 18" KMC XD Revolver's on 33" Nitto Mud Grapplers. And no, they aren't staying long.

Congrats man! And I suggest going with a Magnaflow over the flowmaster.

:shake: thanks you guys. it's been a long time coming but now I have some wheels and I'm happier than a puppy with two peckers! Hopefully the parents will let me loose and go to the next DFW meet.

What should I run for motor oil? It needs to be changed. Guy I bought it from always had it done at a shop so he doesn't know what brand was run in it. Just conventional 5w30. I've always heard good about synthetic so if I decide to switch I'll have to run Valvoline SynBlend for 2 changes then full synthetic but if I don't switch to synthetic what should I run? We've always used Valvoline but my brother runs Castrol GTX and raves about it. What should I use? Any online comparisons?

I run Mobil 1 and a Wix filter, total with 6 quarts and the filter is like $45, Delco filters are about $5 cheaper. For what its worth I used Catrol GTX, then Syntec and now have switched over to Mobil 1. Whatever you go with get sythetic and get a good filter.

*EDIT* Truck looks pretty good, if you plan on running stockers with the NTD you will need spacers.
