Well guys, progress will be slow for a while but I have some big plans for the old girl.

I got the truck when I was 15 and it looked like this.
199940_18198241120_507146120_27382_9156_n.jpg

It had 3" flares, windsheild visor, Ultra 15x8s with 31x10.5 BFG A/Ts

Mods it has
-3" exhaust, no cat, Dynomax Bullet, weld on chrome tip
1988 GMC custom exhaust rev
-1 1/2" blocks, bars turned up
-03ish Yukon 16's with 285/75R16 BFG A/Ts
-5" Autometer Sport Comp Monster tach
-Alpine CD player, had a full stereo but that has been removed
-Rebuilt TBI 350
-Rebuilt 700R4, B&M shift kit, TCI clutches Built by me
-97 Grille shell, headlights from a 90 Silverado
-cb with 2 3' white firesticks

with the AR Nitros

with the Yukon wheels

Plans have changed a few times now but new ones are just to make it usable as a truck since the 04 is long gone and I have a Jeep for cruising around and off road shenanigans. So I will use it hauling stuff, towing stuff, hunting, driving to work, being an asshole in traffic, you know normal truck things.

-5.3/4L60E, engine maybe very mild build but probably just stock, cai, efans, exhaust(as quiet as possible with a little rumble) and of course a tune so it will run right. Trans will get rebuilt and beefed up a little bit, again very mild just better clutches and bands, hardened sunshell, servo, good cooler
-14sf, Trutrac when the G80 goes(really want Eaton E-locker), if I can scoop one up cheap a 9.25" ifs center(would love to have an e locker in both) these are both maybe things because I honestly think that the 10 bolt will live for a long time.
-NBS 05+ front brakes, NBS Burb brakes out back
-Desert Rat Raton 17x8 4" BS, ideally I would like 265/70R17 Goodyear MT/Rs
-Diesel bumper with fog lights in the opening or chrome smoothie
-GMT800 Rear bumper
-Clean up factory hitch
-Bring the body back to a lazer strait gloss black, undercoat EVERYTHING so I can drive it year round and it will stay together
-35% tint on rear window and roll downs
-convert interior to black
-Autometer gauges
-GMT400 heated Suburban bucket seats, black leather with black suede inserts
-black suede head liner and visors
-GMT900 jumpseat
-Fosgate PBR33X2 running a pair of Fosgate P1 8s, have some bump and not lose the only storage a regular cab has
-Going to doa little cutting and squeeze some 5.25s in the dash and b pillar, thinking just Polk Audio DXi525s
-Nice cd player, really like the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X697
-sound deaden the hell out of the cab so it can be a nice quiet ride with out tunes if you want
-Kahlenburg D3 stuffed somewhere under it
-Convert to power window and locks
-2 way alarm/remote start
I'm sure I have forgot something but I will be adding to the list

cleaned it up some, yanked out old box and rigged up a stereo for now, doesnt sound bad to honest and for under $40 for sub, box, wiring and amp it sounds a lot better, plus the seat is all the way back. Put 31s back on went for a drive and made it a block before rear most ujoint had a cap decide it no longer wanted to be a part of the truck, dropped the shaft at 25 mph but it survived.

Big Plans man! Definitely in for progress pics! Nice starter, has potential!

Thanks, progress will slow on this until my 04 is lifted. This truck is a long term project. I think I'm going to start tear down in a few months, but for now I just enjoy driving my old truck when I get the chance.

Couldnt sleep last night so I changed the accuator for the vents, the heater core and bottom part of the heater box that my dumb shit cousin booted a hole in. I also put my camo seat cover back on until I find my seats.
