Quick update: on the daily I installed Monroe factory replacement senstrac shocks up front. #37149. On the back I used some shocks for a Plymouth voyager van and I just changed the bushings in them to fit the chevy truck bolts. They were the perfect length. #37065 and $11 a piece from rockauto wholesale closeout lol.
The truck rides extremely nice. No exaggeration here it's like driving a stock truck. It's nice. I love it
On the racetruck I went ahead and cut a stock nbs fuel rail crossover, test fitted, and handed off to a buddy to have the 6an fittings tig welded onto it. Then when I get it back all I have to do is test fit again, measure, and make a short piece of braided line and throw it together.
I've also started changing my injector plugs to ev6 but pulling out and cutting off the factory pins on the wire and crimping on new pins and snapping them into the new connectors. I'm using a $40 kit from painless and a $30 crimp tool specifically for Delphi connectors from Amazon. The tool works really well. Perfect crimp every time. Tonight I only have time to do the cutting and changed a couple connectors. I'll do the rest tomorrow. I also randomly decided to Polish the rails. Came out pretty sweet tho.
