Ok guys I done a muffler delete and I cleaned the intake 2 weeks ago. Now the problem is I'm constantly getting a P0420 code I checked everything no leaks in exhaust or anything. So I scheduled an appointment at the dealer just wondering if they will try to say the muffler delete caused it. Thanks in advance

why did you clean the intake?

make sure you dont have any air leaks in the intake. the computer is calculating how much air is going through the MAF sensor, then knows how much fuel its putting in, and should have a certain reading at the o2. if there is a air leak, its getting extra air the MAF sensor isnt seeing.

I don't have any air leaks I also put my factory air box back on. The reason for cleaning it was it has 68,000 and I figured that the valves were getting gummed up had a small rough idle. The cleaning cleared that up but now dealing with the check engine light. Just wondering if dealer will say muffler delete caused it and void my warranty.
