Lately I've noticed my cc is making some weird noises that seem to more noticeable when I initially drive off in the mornings. It's like a screeching or creasing sound.

could be the ac compressor clutch too. when mine went out (had a little play in it), caused the belt to jump all over the lower tensioner pulley, made a horrible noise. you would visibly be able to see that btw

its not a belt type screeching. im leaning more towards it being a chassis issue or maybe even what Jared suggested about the sticking brake pad .. im not sure if the chassis has ever been lubed.. any advice or links on how its done ? thanks guys

Well if it doesn't change with RPM (like my A/C Belt Tensioner pulley did) then it may be what Jared said.

What year truck, and is it rear disc? Rear disc calipers are notorious for pistons not retracting and wearing only inner pads down to metal, then screeching/grinding like mad!
Just had this happen to my Sierra (for about the 3rd time) just recently. Outer pads looked nearly new.
