I was having trouble with my MIT popping off my throttle body. I contacted Airaid and Mark got back to me with a list of things that might fix it. I told him I had already tried everything and I would like a 4" coupler. Mark shipped it the same day. Super cool guy, great customer service and now my MIT is performing perfectly.

It's done it twice now, both times pulling out if a parking lot and it went straight to Dooky mode and got a CEL

This is his email of things to try that might fix the issue.

"I do have a few suggestions I would like you to try that usually resolves this issue. During the manufacturing process we use a mold release to help when removing the parts from the mold without damaging them. While every part does go thru a cleaning process it may be that there still may be some of this present. First thing I recommend is to remove the tube and clean the outside of the tube where the coupler goes with brake cleaner or similar and also do the same to the inside of the couplers. Once both have been cleaned you can reinstall the tube. The second suggestion is when you are reinstalling the tube loosen both clamps on the hump hose at the MAF sensor. Reinstall the tube making sure the tube is pulled over towards and seated on the throttle body first and tighten the clamp. The final suggestion is to not over tighten the clamps as this can cause the shape of the tube to distort slightly and not hold as secure as it should. When tightening do so with a screwdriver only and snug plus a quarter turn is all that is really needed. Once the tube is secured to the throttle body you can then tighten the clamps at the hump hose. This should resolve your problem however if you continue to have an issue get back in touch with me and we will proceed from there."
