Want to do this to my yj so bad but I'm torn between working on yj and restoring my 79 cj5 hunting jeep

Post some pics let's see which one is more worthy LOL.

Going to go out in a minute and fully weld the side on. I need to go slow so i dont warp the shit out of it.

Cj5 is about 3 hours away at our hunting camp. I'll get pics of the yj when I get back to Memphis. It's just a tan Sahara with steelies and 31 10.50 15 buckshots. But I do have a set of Mickey Thompson classic 2 wheels for it. They're just too damn low offset and throw mud everywhere when riding. Need massive fender flares. Cj5 is a green 79 with a shooter's seat and a pto winch with stocks and q78 15 bias ply buckshots. Has the biggest damn steel bumper in the world on it and a tow bar thingy.

I started working on the wiring as a side project so it’s not to overwhelming at the end. Going with a harness from a 05 1500 HD so I will need to make some modifications. First I am doing a stand alone harness so everything that is unnecessary will be removed I will be running just the front02's. I also already have a computer for a 5.3 but it’s a 99-02 PCM so I will need to modify the 03+ harness and change the 02 sensor plugs not a huge deal. Here is everything labeled ready to go.

Over the weekend I made some progress on the wiring all of the parts and methods i am using can be found on lt1swap.com. I basically doubled down on the parts they told me to order so I could have twice as many open positions for 2 more relays and 4 fusable circuits. I used 12ga wire for all the fuse block connections they have been soldered and shrink wrapped. Once I complete the entire electrical system I will most likely seal the bottom of the fuse block with some electrical safe caulking. This harness was from an 05 1500HD and I am modding it to work on a 1999-2002 PCM and going from DBW to DBC.

Looking good Josh, wiring looks like a headache but it looks like you are taking your time and it's coming out well.
