Probably going to lower my truck before it ever gets bagged. I'm having problems finding lowered nbs rcsb on 24s. So lemme see what pics yall have. Emphasis on rcsb and nbs as that's what I have and I'm generally not to crazy bout the way they look lowered on 24s.

What year is your truck? How much drop are you thinking? I like 24s on static dropped nbs.

03 silverado. I want to bag it but the funds just aren't there. I'd like to go 5 8 on 275 30. I'm going to go head and notch it to lay 24s though. I like static nbs on 24s too but unless bagged it almost looks disproportionate on a rcsb imo.I can only find like 2 or 3 rcsb static on 24s

Imo if you're doing 24 go 6/9 6/10 gotta remember that those wheels will raise the truck back up so 5/8 may look like 3/5. I could be wrong but I'm 99.5% always right hahaha

That would be the case if he ran a big ass tire. But in order to have it drivable on stock tubs, he won't be able to run much more than a 29" tire (imo) on a 5/8, so it would sit the same as 20s with a 29" tire and 5/8.

I don't think you'd be able to turn the wheel with a 6 inch drop up front. I'm running 275 30s which is equivalent to 30.5 tall

Doubt it lol. Hell you wouldn't think mine would turn at 6" on 275/40s just by looking at it.

It's not just the stock tubs it's that the wheel would probably be to far in the wheel well to turn

Also keep in mind he's on billets with an extremely high offset in the front that you can't get in wheels other than billets.

that makes a big difference on what drop you can run. The tire track width will be ~.75" narrower per side than my wheel/tire setup was. I'm not sure of your driving conditions/style, but i think that if you go more than 5" in the front with 275/30r24's you'll lose noticeable turning and have to keep yourself from hitting the fenders. rcsb 2wd NBS trucks with 4.5" of drop have a hub to fender measurement ~15". so any tire over 30" will begin to be tucked. so at 5" drop and 275/30r24, you will be tucking somewhere around .75" to 1" depending on final settling height of the springs after driving on them.
