Long tube stainless headers

Does anyone have any experience with any ebay off brand long tube headers? I'm dropping my new motor in this weekend and really don't feel like trying to salvage the rusted stock exhaust.

I want to get the set from speed engineering but they are back ordered and the date keeps getting pushed out further. There are tons of headers in stock on ebay and I was hoping someone could comment on the fitment. Currently, I just want the cheapest stainless header and Y that will hook up to a stock exhaust. I already have a customer muffler-back exhaust that will work fine for now and funds don't allow me to buy anything other than the headers and Y pipe.

Either one of those decent? Hard to beat them for the price even if I have to heat and bend them a little to make them perfect.

Truck is a 2005 Ext cab/std bed 4wd

Edit: I do have a set of Atomic's solid motor mounts so old saggy mounts will not be an issue

I have pacesetters which I always thought is what speed engineering and the ebay brands copied, from every picture I've seen. I'd go for it. With my pacesetters on my 2wd I had to take a BFH to the driver's side firewall for them to clear.

Idk about 4wd clearances but 2wd drivers side went in from the bottom and passenger went in from the top. Leave everything loosely attached so you don't break your balls trying to get it to line up.

You have your front 02s tuned out? If not it'll throw a code.

And wtf is this news about a new motor? Way to post updates, getting to be almost as bad as Bryan.... Almost.

Also, I trimmed a little bit off the collectors and it made the y install way easier and there was still enough surface to have everything come together and seal.

Installed a set of speed engineering on a 06 cc 4wd. Definelty recommend. I'd wait or find a distributor for them

Hopefully dropping new motor in this weekend. Then my headers will be in next week and I'll finish buttoning everything up.

I'll post up how they fit, for $210 with taxes and shipped I have 304 stainless headers and Y pipe that "should" drop in a bolt up to my muffler back exhaust. I don't think I could beat that. Even if the Y needs some tuning, I have a TIG welder and left over 3" tubing.

And FYI- you've liked pics of my new motor on IG :)

Yeah that sucks. Gotta get mine inspected since it expired in July. My one buddy isn't at his shop anymore so I need to find another hookup.

Nice! You'll be firing it up by the weekend then.

In staying true to myself, motor is almost out. Just have to take out the 3 TC bolts and the motor is out. I thought I was going to have a heat stroke Sunday and called it quits at about 1 PM.

The weekend of the 18th just opened up for me so I'm going to try and finish this up by then and go to the tuner either the 18th or 19th. He has a dyno right down the road from me so I plan on breaking it in on the rollers.
