Small update.

Got ambitious yesterday and pulled my center console to paint it. (I've had the paint since May lol).

Just doing SEM Satin Black on it, nothing flashy for me. I was hating how the 99-02 color clashed with my 04 interior. Overall pretty quick job.

-Disassembled console completely
-Sprayed with Adam's APC to remove dressings
-Sprayed with SEM Plastic Prep
-Sprayed 3 coats of BullyDog Adhesion Promoter, waiting 5-10 minutes between applications
-Waited 20 minutes
-Sprayed with SEM Satin Black 2x, waiting 15 minutes between coats.

Should be back together over the next day or two depending on how I feel

Also about to order an AirRaid Jr and K&N filter through Black Bear.

Thanks James!

I'll grab some better pics tonight of it, it really did for a spray can paint job. It has the oem finish and it retained the textured look & feel, so I'm happy with it overall.

It's a 60" 5000k strip from vleds lol. I had to trimm about 6-8" off the end, but I love how much light it puts out

Pulled my dash last week and decided to strip it to black. based off recommendations in the nbs interior thread, I used thinner on a rag and let it set for a minute before wiping it away, then hitting the spot with soapy water. Long story short, and a lot of frustration later, my dash was bleached white from the thinner.

Said fuck it, had my dad mix some primer and shot it:

No finished pics of it, it came out like shit. I figure I'll leave it be til I get sick of looking at it, then buy a new one.

I organized all of my parts today into one cart.

For Tony:

Yes I gave in and bought paint. What that means is my bed is getting fixed, tailgate shaved, and whatever is left over will go to colormatching my valance and mirrors.

Pic of the front end last night:

I also snagged new headlights, fogs, and an overhead console on eGay this weekend. I also am absolutely DONE spending money on shit for this thing. The only exception may be an updated intermediate steering shaft because that is getting on my nerves bad now...

And as of now, the list of parts waiting to go on in 3 weeks:
2" McG coils, 2"McG spindles, 6" McG flip & notch, belltech sp shocks, new poly swaybar & leaf spring bushings from energy suspension, moog upper & lower bj's, 18" magnaflow, trick flow diff cover, tranny service, rear end service, seafoam, and undercoat anything I can see.

Just got my K&N and AirRaid MIT from BBP last week also and got them installed too. So looking forward to getting this stuff out of the garage and on the truck already. Then it is time to save for 20's and Nitto's next summer

Shits gonna look nice dude, thought about just colormatching the dash with excess paint? I don't think it would look too bad, would never do white but silver probably wouldn't be bad..or possibly wrap part of the dash in suede?

Thanks man, I hope so! I used SEM satin black like on my console, but it didn't come out how I planned. I didn't even think of doing suede on there, I would have to see some to decide. For now I can deal with it, it is low on the priority list until winter break from school haha.

Not a huge fan, maybe it is the color...idk. Still open to it, probably will do a darker grey or black.

Glad you decided to fix it sooner than later. Nothing like a little peer pressure to help you decide.

Yeah me too, I die a little inside every time I look at it...

We had to go to the auto body supply store to get paint for my buddies Civic that my dad fixed the bumper on. I went with only wanting to get undercoating and ended up having them mix up some SBM for me.

Currently in the process of shaving my gate & fixing the "fix" that was previously there. Also I forgot to add that I converted my cluster to LED's while I had my dash out and the downtime there.

Coffee tables make great work benches:

Shitty pic. They are white LED's, but because of the blue tint on the gauges they look sky blue
