KB and Trick are thge 2 biggest players in the truck turbo setups. Personally like the Trick stage 3, its a 80mm which is a bit much, but its a Ball bearing turbo so much more reliable then a standard Journal bearing turbo

what are you wanting to know about installation? It is more difficult than a supercharger, but not terrible. Just have to do more modding, and use more ingenuity. I'd set aside a full weekend at least in case you run into problems.

I should almost make my own thread about this...

With a kit like the stage 2 would a stock 4L60E be able to handle it?

I'm totally new to boosting but I'd figured that a built trans would be needed.

4l60e's aren't even capable of handling stock power levels.

It will be on very limited life. Upgraded 4l60e or a 4l80e will be the toughest. ?A nice FLT level 7 4l65e is about 4 k all in.

That's what I figured.
It'll still be awhile before I'm even close to biting the bullet on this. Something to think about, thanks!

I was going to run the KB 91mm kit.... I am leaning more towards nitrous. Just seems more street friendly. Turbo would be fun, just a 300-400 shot sounds like a lot more.
