So, when I had the Sierra, I bought the TRS harness for my Denali lights, bought shitty DDM hid that were trash. Bulbs got tossed, and the ballast were used for maybe 5 minutes. Will these same ballast work with Morimotos? I was told they won't. Also, will the harness work?

If not, am I better off selling the harness and the ballast and buying a new kit?

All aftermarket HID's have the traditional AMP connectors on the bulbs and ballasts. You'd only run into issue if you were mixing OEM parts with aftermarket bulbs... such as OEM ballasts with Aftermarket bulbs.

So the answer is YES they'll work.

These are the droids you are looking for :stormtrooper:

I'm still not fully understanding. Should I buy from the forum? I'm not a member, I bet a discount is the same as buying there with out registering and awaiting for approval, no?

the ballasts are the real shitty part of the ddm hids...

these is the second set of DDM ballasts Ive had, they are running for almost 4 years now. First set I had I sold with my wrx and they were working just fine. i guess some people just get lucky but Morimoto is what I will replace them with when the time comes.

I bought a set of morimotos. I can keep what I had for another vehicle or sell them. With my luck, it's better this way.

Talk to Faze at all? I know he was selling some high quality HID back in the Day. I currently am running Morimoto. Had "Spencer's" before...I liked them both pretty ok.

Bought Xentec to start---HORSE SHIT QUALITY.

Then I got some stuff from mydepot.com for my fogs. Love those things. Cheap and durable. Pin comes loose on one from time to time however.
