My headlights definitely aren't as bad as some of the ones I've seen some of you do turn arounds on and wet sand. With that being said however, I noticed yesterday/last night after not washing or paying much attention in a few months that my lights are starting to get a slight haze at the very top and have somehow managed to get some pretty decent spots and scratches on them.

With all of that being said what are your recommendations on correcting them? I might be overthinking but have really never done much to the headlights other than sealing/waxing them,

I have green, orange, and white focus pads from Adams for my drill as well as normal pads in each color color for my PC from adams. As far as polished I have both the old 3 step system and their new two step system.

After correction what should I deal with? I have the old Adams machine sealant in the grey bottle, Adams quick sealant, Adams Americana, and some SCG hydro-seal.

they don't look too bad...Id try straight orange pad and adams orange goop. If that doesn't work, then sand with 800/1000 then re-polish and seal with liquid paint sealer or any sealer of ur choice

the nnbs lights seem really susceptible to scratches and crap from their shape. our denali ones are beat. I completely wetsanded them down, polished and sealed, helped a lot but there is still stuff that didnt come out as well as spots where the plastic has some lines in it.

my cousins NNBS Yukon was REAL bad....the plastic itself starts cracking and theres nothing u can do. We sanded and sanded...nothing...it was all inside/within the plastic.

Appreciate the quick replies, fellas.

I didn't think they looked too bad either. Definitely not compared to some of the ones I see driving around town, etc. Just thought that maybe if I fixed/stopped what I could it might keep it from spreading haze wise.

My subie is in that same boat now. Wetsanded, polished, and sealed them about 6 months ago and they're starting to get cloudy again. Not like it's a big deal to do it again, but I'd like to get a year or more out of them each time lol

unless you spray them with a clear, they'll start to oxidize again. I've had good luck with just a 2 step adam's polish and some sealant afterwards. 8-12 months later they'll haze, so I just hit them up again. Not on my truck, but on her cars.

My belief is that unless you coat or seal them back up afterwards, you are leaving the little pores of the plastic wide open after cleaning them out, therefore they will tend to haze quicker. Now, other things have a play in this. Time of year, amount of pollution in the air, etc.

Once they are wet sanded and polished up, opti coat them. Best option vs buying new ones
