In the near future I'll be getting some pacesetter headers, problem is is that I've been hearing that headers put out to much heat and aren't good for daily drivers. Any opinions or advice?

Heat's not an issue at all, had LTs on 3 vehicles now. The floorpan/under the console did get warm in my '94 GT mustang with them but they were damn near touching the floor. When I had them on my Z71, didn't notice heat at all. Don't even worry about it

Had to put a pretty big dent in the y pipe to get it to clear the shaft, and it barely does clear.

Damn. Had CalSpeeds on mine and they wouldn't fit for shit. Sorry OP, back on topic. But yeah, if heat is still a concern, get ceramic coated ones. Plus it helps with scavenging somewhat

My cal speeds don't fit for shit. Would do it right and get ARH if I did it all over again

I installed two sets of csp and they fit just fine. For the price can't really beat them. But if you have the money, do whatever

To clarify, if you have 2wd by all means grab the calspeed's. Can't go wrong. If you have 4wd don't waste your time
