found a pair of brand new OEM v6 taillights and brand new OEM projector headlights on craigslist for $200 total. My headlights are developing a very slight haze so i decided to pick them up. won't put the headlights on for a while but the tails are on. need to get a better pic.

i just rolled 87k (already...) and car still had original pads/rotors so it needed some new new. Got PowerStop drilled and slotted rotors. Mixed reviews on them but this will be my third vehicle I've ran them on with no issues. Went with Hawk HPS pads. Pretty happy with improvement and looks over stock.

Next will be tires, maybe wheels, drop, Rotofab or Vararam intake, and maybe a change of exhaust. Also need to fix my sunroof, TPMS, air bag light, and fogs. Fogs just randomly stopped working all together.

Still enjoying the car overall?

yes i am. i am however noticing cheap ass gm/pontiac annoyances here and there. I've noticed interior rattle increase since I've owned it. Air bag sensor, fog light malfunction, TPMS system failure, sunroof tracking issues, thin paint/clear coat cracking, etc. All things that I would expect from a car with higher mileage, not a pampered car with lower mileage. but mechanically its been great. still fun to drive.

Looking for opinions on rear tires. I've never bought car tires before so I'm kind of lost. Looking for an all-season/performance tire if that exists. Want low road noise and at least 40k out of them. Considering Toyo Proxes 4s?

40k? Stay away from summer tires then. Maybe try some michelins I got about 20k out of my hankook ventus v12. Stock or bolt on they were fine. Not so much after the mods.

Can't help ya with 40k mile tires. But I loved my Hankook Ventus V12s on my Coyote and my dad has them on his stang now. Also the Nitto INVOs are awesome as well. Good wear out of both, but not 40k. Probably would have seen 25-30 on both

I didn't know 40k was unreasonable lol. My friends dad had 50k on his Terra Grapplers lol. I ordered the Toyos. They're bringing them to me and installing in my driveway tomorrow.

Terra grapplers on a truck. Not a car with summer performance tires... My nitto 555 were way better than the hankooks. The Bridgestone that comes stock on the SS sedan are decent too

Rear tires are on. Rides a lot smoother. Went from 245/40r19 to 275/35r19... Before on left, after on right.

Well at 95k and zero problem indicators, I drove to work the other day and thought I heard a slight exhaust leak. At a light I could hear it better and the car shook a little bit. Pulled into work and got under to find the noise and it started to tick loud as fuck. Limped it 5 miles home, parked it and bought the following-

Rick Crawford "Little Lunati" low lift cam- 219/223 .612/.615 112+1
BTR Platinum Dual Valve Springs
BTR trunion upgrade
7.425'' chromoly push rods
LS3/LS7 lifters
LS2 Gen IV Valley Cover
Valley Cover Gasket
Valley cover Bolts
LS2/LS3/L92/L99 Head gasket
LS3 lifter guides
LS2 Timing Chain dampener
3 bolt 4X timing gear
ARP Head bolts
Oil Pump O-Ring
ARP Balancer bolt
ARP cam bolts
GM HD timing Chain

I'll be running stock converter/heads, still my DD. Gonna have it dyno tuned by my tuner as well.

Knew the day was coming! I hope nothing is hurt in the motor. We'll find out this week.
