alright fellas well I have at least 1 possible 2 bad calipers in the front. So first question is do nbs hd calipers have Phenolic Piston or Metal Pistons from the factory?
2nd would you guys just buy new calipers or repair them? Was originally gonna just replace them but from both it was 85 bucks on rock auto plus have to pay to ship cores back. vs 92 bucks at oriely's and I wont have to ship the cores back(both A-cardone). but the rebuild kit is only 5.30 so was thinking for the price diff might just redo the seals especially since moneys tight.
lastly would you fellas grab brakebest pads $37 or wagner $66

thanks for any insight.

Those A-1 are garbage, I always had them come back for warranty, anything new from a1 is good, the reman stuff was always SHIT! What vehicle? I can't remember what all the kit has, it may be worth the try, shit for $5 I would try it, doesn't work, you are out $12 with tax.

Thermoquiet used to be bad ass, but last few times I used them they squeaked like a bitch. The Break Best SELECT are great, ran those a couple times. The rep came to our location and said they rivaled the TQ's, basically a copy, and my wife's car had them for about 6 years...never had one squeal or squeal. And we drove the piss out of that car. They are a bit cheaper too!

cool thanks jared, so ill grab the brakebest select, thinking imma try rebuilding mine it really doesnt look hard at all if i cant get it back together can still return it in pieces as a core. Plus this leaves me money to possible switch to all stainless steel brake lines.
