Hi all,

I am fairly new to truck mods. I am wanting to level out the truck by either lowering the rear or raising the front.. I am getting different opinions on which is easier, or which is better.. I am not big on lifted trucks.. but also not looking to go all the way to the ground... so.. I figured I would ask you guys since this is a forum for this kind of thing and I figured maybe someone would have done both or have some better info for me.

Thanks

Please post details about your truck. Actually, if you put the details in your signature you won't have to worry about posting the info when you ask questions.

My 2015 Reg Cab has 2" drop shackle currently. Measuring the ground to the wheel wells, I still have about an inch of rake (rear higher than the front.)

Honestly if you don't want to run a bit taller/beefier of a tire, I'd suggest going with drop shackles. That way you can just carry on with your stock tire size without looking like your truck skipped leg day :imo:

This is how it sits currently. To be completely level, I would have needed a 3" drop shackle, but on previous body styles I'm pretty sure there wasn't enough room for a 3"

I also did this with my old 2006. Left me with about an inch of rake as well.

This is how high the ass end sat without the drop shackles.
