Im totally new to these. What are you guys using to stand your LS motors? Id like one that I can move on the floor and that can rotate the assembly.

As you well know, I'm a Jew. I got one for 25, one for 50, one w the hoist. But I think HF usually has them for $75 or less on sale. There are 5 total in that corner now. All with LS blocks/engines on em with no issues.

Yea I've got 3 harbor freight ones. One had had a old 69' Ford FE 390 on it and that engine weighs as much as a small house. Lol

My HF engine hoist was far from dinky, and nothing looked dinky from any of the ones I have been around. It's rated to a specification, and all it's doing is holding an engine...no need to over pay

Just send me one...with a block...ill clear some room for ya.

So they DO swivel to turn the engine upside down, right? If so I will look for a HF one to pop up on sale or on CL, thanks fellas.

Yeah they swivel. That pics old as hell, will update later. I actually need another stand. Should be picking up 2 Gen IV short blocks next WK.
 To shopping cart.
Holds all my accessories, compact, mobile, free.

You mean the sag? Most all of them do it. All the bolts in the block instead of 2 on the heads helps though.

Oh now that I believe, I just use around the shop, definitely want something with a lower profile and front support to transport.

for transport, we some like use these:

around the shop: AC Delco and HF "H-style"

AC Delco works good enough but kinda wobbly, hard to turn over... would buy another HF over AC Delco more based on price but quality does have to do with it
