Hey guys. Starting this thread to formally introduce myself to the forum. Done a lot of reading but not a lot of posting so here this goes.

Anyways got this truck in July of 2013. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the day it came off the lot. It was the WT so I have manual everything and the ugly, not color matched front end.

Not long after I got it I put in this here double din.

Then around Christmas time last year I re-did all the speakers. I have infinity speakers in the doors and then tweeters as well. Alpine rear pillar speakers and a 12" sub behind the passenger seat. It really kicks ass when watching Star Wars haha.

Also did some color matching myself and threw in a billet grill.

This spring I got the OE Replica 8 spoke wheels in 20s. I don't like them too much now.. But the day I got em on.

Since then I've done esky handles and added fog lights. Don't have the lights wired up yet. That should be fixed soon.

Future plans:

Revamping the interior. Maybe some painting. Haven't decided.

Escalade Platinum gauge cluster.

Chrome door handles.

Power/signal mirrors, windows, and door locks. Hope to get an OEM keyless entry set up too. Want to tackle all of that this spring.

3/5 drop.

In the far future I'd like to do a V8 swap but that's not crazy high on the list at the moment.

Color matched bumper cover.

Welded in roll pan and maybe an Intimidator SS wing. Really like those.

Keep in mind I'm only 19 and in school so this will probably be slow. Just making this for motivation and I love this truck.

no roll pan.

and damn sorry to hear its a v6. the plans are decent though

I've gone back and fourth on this. I got the stupid grey bumper GM through on the WTs so if I don't do the roll pan I'd probably do the chrome bumper back there. I've just always liked the look of roll pans. Had one on my last OBS and liked it on that but I'm still a little up in the air about it on this one.

Welcome to the site.

The only way a roll pan would look good is if it was molded in and you were way lower than 3/5 imo. But with the money you would spend on molding it in and painting it, you would be better off just colormatching yours or getting an oem chrome bumper.

The city is fun, but I couldn't ever live there lol. From upstate NY but on Long Island for school. It's a great state if you can get past all the property taxes

Haha I understand that. I feel like there's a lot more things to do there than here in Oklahoma, so maybe that's why I like it there idk

you have a painted bumper, hell people here want them more than the chrome ones, since you can easily color match it.

This is true. I might see about color matching it when it warms up and if I don't like it still I could find a chrome one or go another route.

Seen your article before. Trucks looks good.
Question on the window swap tho.. Is a new BCM (one from the donor truck with PW and PL) necessary or could I just get the dash harness along with all the other harnesses and panels and just have the BCM reprogrammed?

A lot of things have happened since I've last posted, not exactly to the truck though. Moved, engaged, and the big day is in April

On the plus side I'm getting funds together for a drop. Deciding to go with the 2/4. Have some MCG spindles I'm going to go with for the front and then the shackle/hanger combo in the back. Belltech shocks.

Getting an oil change out of the way tomorrow and also have a pair of escalade interior door handles I plan on throwing in tomorrow. Also have a brake problem where the truck pulses when I step on the brake. Not bad yet but it's getting worse. I'll be getting that taken care of.

Also have 6000k HIDs to throw in the lows and the fogs once I get around running the wires to the fogs. I'm just excited to finally be going lower here soon

Mini update

Finally got around to putting my HIDs and escalade interior handles in today. I like the chrome on the inside. Would like to have a chrome gauge bezel to kinda top it off
