It was just a bonus that was up there, I figured I'd have to do something. Maybe call a shop that puts them in and see what kind of glue to use, Friday when I drop it to fix the light I'll see if I can get a pic. I had a snap of it and went to take an actual picture and my phone died.

So I think I may have finally decided on what the stance will be, should be ready to order everything in June and have it done before summers over. BDS 6.5" kit, 1.5" body lift, HD front end, 20x10 Pred 2s, 35x12.5 MTZs. I think as heavy as the Burb is plus heavy wheels and tires I'll go with 4.88s instead of 4.56s and for brakes im going to do 05 swap up front with some combo of EBC or Powerstop pads and rotors. Plus with 4.88s if I ever decide to go to 37s I'd have enough gear.

Ordered Kenwood Excelon DDX395 and a JBL GTX500 to replace my MTX that died so I can at least throw my 12" back in

Typical Tyler update, no pictures but got the leveling keys in and new shocks on, sorry Sam I went with 5100s, they don’t have the small impact harshness they did on my Jeep but the burb also has about a ton and brakes done and 35” of wheelbase to help out with that. Ended up just leveling it since I bought a camper and that was some of the lift money. Wheels and tires will just be 17x9 Raceline Rennegades wrapped in 285/70 Dick Cepek Extreme Country’s because they are reasonably priced, I like how they look and reviews seem decent on them. Hopefully next year it gets 20x10s and 305/55s and just run the Racelines for winter.
Brakes I went with Powerstop for pads, rotors and calipers. Did the Z36 truck/towing pads also went to 05+ fronts with Russell lines all the way around, pretty happy with how it turned out.
Had plans to do the exhaust today but didn’t remember when I ordered the shit the suburbans have the stupid 2 into 1 tail pipe also didn’t realize that GM would do a single 2.75 in to 2 3” outs, the guy who designed it needs to be kicked in the dick with steel toe boots. I’m going to borrow a welder and make the exhaust make sense, muffler will be a Borla Pro XS and I got a 4” double wall tip to throw on it also. I had planned on still throwing the muffler on and dumping it but that’s when I found out about the mid pipe size so for now I’m going for all the yeeyees and just have it hacked off about 4” in front of where the muffler was.
Did notice it’s pretty crusty under the Z71 cladding so hopefully next spring/early summer I’ll take all that off and get rid of the rust and do a full repaint, probably do a 1.5” body lift and HD front end then. Bumpers are also shitty like all painted bumpers in Iowa so when I take care of everything else paint wise I’ll get some new ones and get them powdered.

Basically the same plans as before but lift itself is getting pushed back I’m saying probably a year or 2 but in reality I’ll probably be bored with it and sell before it ever happens.

Bringing the camper home. It’s an 18 Rockwood Freedom 1940LTD, 10’ box, queen bed and full bed, dinette folds to a full bed, AC, heat, fridge. It’s pretty basic but we didn’t want much for extras.

That’s the only picture I really have of it setup. Works out pretty good for the 4 of us and the dog, I didn’t want to get a big camper because pretty much the only time we’re in it is to sleep or if it’s raining. I have taken all the stupid warning labels and shit off if it and we got some lights for the awning and a big mat For under the awning. Only had it a month or so but we’ve already had it out a couple times, once was just 3 nights and the other was 4.

Exhaust is on, Borla Pro XS muffler and 4” tip. Not much louder than stock but a lot better sound. I’ll get a video sometime eventually.

Noticed it shifting strange yesterday so I’m going to start collecting parts for the rebuild, not sure if I’ll do it myself or have my wife’s cousins husband rebuild it for me since he does it daily and has thrown out the offer before. It’ll end up getting a hardened sun shell, TCI race ultimate overhaul kit, but I’d also have a vette servo tossed in.

17x9 Racelines?
Yep, still debating between 285 or 295 Toyo MTs, 295s aren’t much bigger but are like 20-25 pounds heavier but are also like $30 cheaper
Looks great. Good decision on removing the steps.
Thanks, normally it’s the first thing I take off but I actually kept them for a while just didn’t use them and got sick of stepping over them, all the heads on the rivers for the plastic brackets rusted off so the side we’re all lose.

I do have 1 hole about the size of my fist on the rocker I’m going to order the panel for and fix before winter but besides that it’s all surface rust I can get rid of.

Old ass JVC 12 is still dieing a slow death but the box is literally falling apart, rolled the dice on an entry level Soundqbed 15, going to pick up the wood for the box today and get it built tomorrow then just hurry up and wait for the sub to get here. Total I’ll only have about $240 into the amp, sub and box materials and that’s all new cost.
