Well I made the switch....here is where she stands as of now.

So I decided to go ahead and do a full rubber and brake system replacement.

Bought some 305/50-20 Coopers. My 275/55-20 Bridgstones were shot...

While I was at it, I read up on swapping to 305mm rotors for the front. On all the Quadrasteers out there, the rear rotors are 25mm larger than the fronts and that seemed ass-backwards so I went to work.

I ordered (4) 305mm slotted rotors, new Ultra Premium pads front and rear and NNBS Tahoe front calipers w/ brackets. Everything bolts right up and there is no modification for the front at all.

i need to swap my rotors too

Well worth the upgrade...super easy mod.

Nice rig dude! Have you thought about taking off the mud flaps? Possibly a painted tailgate bezel/handle?

I have rust underneath the front flaps that I need to take care of, but I had the rears off and I didn't care for the look to be honest. I will be painting the tailgate handle soon as well. I have plans of painting some interior pieces, the handle and de-badging the tail gate.

Got to see this truck in person a couple weeks ago. Super fucking sick and clean as hell! Glad you made it over Dane!

Thanks brosef....I started the brake swap almost immediately after you were up here. Did a water pump on it too to fix the coolant leak I was chasing.

Looks badass dude, dfw bigger brakes

Love the results so far...want to add hydroboost if I can. Saw somewhere that there is a way to do it on NBS trucks

What width are your wheelz?

X9 I believe. Even with the 305's I don't rub...

That sucks about the rust. The paint plans sound good though, itll add that final touch to it.

I am going to do some sort of bed cover here shortly and need to see if the box still fits under it when it's installed.....so you may be in the running for it's new home should that happen.

This thing rails now that I have a wider tire on it and non-warped rotors haha

Yeah, they are super easy. You would just have to justify bleeding brakes every time you swap...that wouldn't be worth it to me. :imo:

yup...my 17's clear just barely. There is a kit out there that lets you run your stock calipers with relocation brackets and run 14" rotors, it's $450, I looked at it, but decided that I would be better off doing the NNBS calipers that way I can still use my 17's
