The time has come, I'm tired of dealing with the truck, and looking to park it for awhile.

I really want a Sonoma with the step-side bed (2000ish model) or an Xtreme S-10 or Blazer. Will consider other things of course.

If you find links to something above, feel free to post them here.

Budget is $5k, and looking to stay around $3k if possible.

Fwiw, I loved my '00 Xtreme. It was a fun little truck. You should be able to pick them up fairly cheap too.

Oh, and not sure if you know much about them, but a ZQ8 Sonoma is the same thing as an Xtreme if you find one of them first.

Yes...but they are as rare as a 28 year old hot asian virgin.

I prefer the Sonoma...I posted one above. SLS step-side

My buddy has one but it's kind of a pos. He uses it for a parts truck instead of driving his dually everywhere. I can get his info and some details on the truck if you're interested.

Only limited to these model rides or interested in other single cabs or possible cars?.....ex stepsister only got 17-18 in her s-10 and a full size single cab can average the same.

Will consider other things...as stated in op...$5k limit too. So that narrows a rcsb fullsize to an older pos.

Would be SO jelly if you got a 2dr Blazer/Jimmy. Love em, but they are tough to find unmolested by a high schooler/gangsta these days - and even tougher to find with a 4.3 and decent miles...ive looked...

Ive seen a few NBS fullsizes that are goin for less than 5k too, nothin fancy though.

for once I am standing firm on something and not spending over $5k. I just can't budget more. Too much shit going on with finances.

thanks for the offer though.

If you're going to get a DD, get something that's going to be a DD IMO. I like the idea of the S-10 or Blazer better than the fullsize, especially one that's been modded and dropped and is over budget. I have a feeling that if you get something like that, it's going to be more of a headache than it is worth.
