Completely different truck. I had my tuned by justin and he tuned for CAI, exhaust, vette servo, completely catless, almost all torque management removed from normal driving then all of it when the tow/haul button is on.... I got 21 mpg coming back from the tune meet. Mine is a 2005 CCSB 5.3 w/auto 2wd.....

Justin at BB is great for getting back to yoy with tunes, but it doest take him a few weeks, id say 2 tops.

By your setup, a BB tune would be perfect. As stated above he does so many trucks, and has such a huge database of truck combos, the first tune is usually spot on.

Justin ahs done all my trucks(minus diesel), all my buddies, and alot of cars for me too. Just got finished doing a 2007 cts-v with a head cam swap, also he tuned my H/C lq9 in my white rcsb...I would highly reccomend him.

since tune shit is already here:

If I get BB to tune me for 91+ fuel this weekend, do I need 91 in the tank already? Common sense would tell me yes, but I want a good confirmation. I just filled up today not thinking about it.

Yes it's best that you get the truck tuned with the octane level you want to use in the truck already

ITs not gonna be a fatal error if your already on 87...get the 91 tune and dont worry about it. If you are still concerned after this amazing advice, just buy some octane booster from a auto parts place

Justin at BBP has helped me for years.. the guy knows his stuff and can nail most tunes on the first try.

he taught me the tuning curve and we were discussing his new company name. i miss the old days..

but id go with him over anybody but i might be biased.

I'm gonna get a tune from Justin just from what all ya'll say. How much does it end up costing I don't want or need no extra pcm or anything. I just want my truck tuned but I don't wanna traditional. whats my best bet? Scan cable I guess? Cause the whole email thing confuses me and I'd fuck something up with all that lol

I need to get mine retuned for 93 octane... Stupid me had it done for 87 and all I run is premium... Might make for alittle more power maybe alittle bit better mpg hopefully. How can I get him to retune the truck without having to meet him somewhere like ATL again that was a 5 hour one way drive I dont feel like making again anytime soon?

Zach, his prices maybe lower now not sure, but I did the scan cable tune. cost roughy around 300-350. But you need 650 in the bank for deposits for the scan cable and the new pcm and the tune itself. After tune is installed he credits all that money back to you and you end up paying for just the tune.

Sign up on the GMFS BBP Georgia tune meet! We are trying to get him to come back to GA. Have a lot of guys on FB that want to get a tune by him, so the more the merrier.
