Handful of parking tickets because my school's parking division, rules, and enforcement are a farce. They more or less only enforce against students, don't know their own rules, and make it up as they go along. Case in point: I got an overnight parking ticket for parking in the lot specifically designated for overnight parking (dismissed without comment after I pointed that out.) I also received a ticket for some kind of permit violation- I had a physical pass on the dashboard and a note from the head of parking enforcement that I was A-OK to be where I was. (Long term parked a car because I drove my dad to the hospital then home when he broke his wrist at the tailgate at an away football game, and took aanother truck back to school) Department ended up dismissing a handful of tickets over like a week and a half. Currently fighting one because I parked in an empty visitors lot. I wouldn't have had to if the garage I pay 100/7mos to park in wasn't filled with contractor's cars and snow-fighting equipment. Poor plant ops doesn't want to have to brush snow off their little trucks and UTVs when they come to work. (Zero sympathy for these guys, they get absurd money for their job description, compounded by the mediocre work they do, and the benefits they recieve. They park their trucks in a lot that's frequently busy because it allows them to get to dunks easier in the AM, no joke.)

Handful of driving pullovers. I get it, area has issues, lot of tourists, lot of drug dealers, lot of drugs trafficked in. That and I speed, have tint, don't always get inspected, etc.

Ticket for 83 in a 55 (everyone does 70 minimum, should be 65 but they love to make money off tourists with an absurdly low limit)
Picked out of a line of cars doing right around 85. Dude goes to pass me, literally side by side, looks at me, slams his brakes and pulls me over.
Got out of it because I fought it, first ticket ever. Willing to bet the cop felt sorry for me or something because he was there and convened with the magistrate before I got let off.

Got pulled over for accelerating too hard. Came around a corner, went through a yellow, and punched it for shits and giggles. Cop thought I was trying to run from him because I had drugs. My eyes were red from sanding ablative paint all day (I was covered in the blue dust) and he thought I was high when we walked up to the window. He grilled me for 20 minutes about what I had in the car, where I was going, if I did, sold, or had drugs on me. He was convinced I was trying to run from his- get this- undercover car. Let me off with a written warning for "Failure to use care when starting."

Got pulled for no reason. Cop did two laps around the car with a flashlight in broad daylight and wrote me a warning for a two year expired inspection sticker. I'd say he ran my plate except for the two laps around the car.

Depends what story you're asking about.

The three pull overs?

The parking tickets are from my school in Central Mass. I have no love for their parking enforcement. I have a stack of tickets from them, they give them out like hotcakes. I got three in a day when I brought my work truck up for two weeks.

Yeah opiates are huge around here. It's funny, a few minute's walk from the Kennedy compound there was a trap house, the gang there chopped up a snitch and left the body in a bag on the highway. Big into coke and heroin.

It usually doesn't spill over into the touristy side, but it is there in the background.
