I just powder coated my 20 inch 2018 Silverado stock rims. They were decladded and now the OEM center caps do not fit. I found an old forum where someone took the plastic chrome off and was able to use that as the cap. Does that work? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

Remove the ring. Bend the tabs a little and silicone the cap in. I've had them like this for 3 years no issues. [IMG][IMG]

In looking at my cap it looks like it is one piece and I don't have the plastic piece inside of it. Center Cap.jpg

Pop the metal ring out. The little tabs that hold the ring bend them outwards. I can get a pic tmw. I decladded my second set recently. Still need to get them powder coated lol
