Thanks man. I was getting "tired" of it during the winter but it was never sunny out. Now that it's sort of clean, I love how it sparkles and it reminded me of why I bought the colour that i did.

Do wish mine was sparkly. When it gets painted I'm gonna have them throw some blue ice pearl in the clear. Subtle but it'll pop in the sun

Finally got my SLE to SLT headlight conversion harness.

Extremely happy with the quality, even put dielectric grease on the pins of the relays, which I wasn't expecting.

I've got a few more parts to order for my headlight build yet.

Been getting lighting parts trickling in. Everything is on the shelf in the garage for the retrofit, but I did manage to get my XB LED fogs from Morimoto/the Retrofit Source aimed tonight. Thankfully got my warranty replacement in so I can use them without looking like a fool with only one fog light.

I'm super impressed with them. They completely outperform the factory Valeo projectors in the Sierra headlights. I always thought that my headlights were "decent", but it's clear to me taht they're absolute shit. I can't wait to get those SLT headlights retrofitted lol. I have the first week of July off on vacation. may do it then.

i wish they had a direct swap for the NBS, but now were old. so less aftermarket support lol
I wonder if they could be made to fit... You have a Sierra right?
Those dogs are wideeeee

live from the gutter trash.
Super wide. Fill in the foreground so nice too. Can't wait to retro.
Oooo do want those fogs

Story time.

Turns out that when I had the drop shackles installed last year, they were actually 3" drop shackles. All this time I thought my truck was sitting at 0/2, but was actually 0/3.

That being said, there's now 3" of rake instead of 2 on my current setup, which is actually 2/4 from stock now.

DJM LCA's
OEM GM Ball joints
Belltech 3" drop shackles
rear block delete
Belltech bump stops.

To get it to sit how I want, I need to get a 5-6" flip kit. Why do I want rake? Practicality. I'd rather not have the truck squatting when I have shit in the bed, but this is TOO much rake.

I'm about 90% happy with the outcome, truck rides better, and the handling definitely improved a little with a bit less body roll. After my trip to Quebec, I'll see what my bank account looks like, and the truck may end up going 2/5 or 2/6... we'll see though. If I go that route this fall, I may go the extra little bit and drop the front an extra inch so the truck sits at a 3/6, and close up the wheel gap in the front

Thanks Steve!

The only thing that bothers me is the rear end being up so damn high. I might have to do the flip kit, but labor will KILL. And I don't have the equipment to do the job safely in my driveway. I'll see, I'm budgetting for mid August at the earliest for the extra 2 inches in the rear. Fuck it, 2/6 lmao.
