So once a year there’s a classic car and hot rod show in Blanco TX. Even though one of my cuz’s lives in Blanco and his shop sponsors it, I’ve never had a chance to go. This year, though, I made it a point to get out there:
So Friday evening, Del and I got to detailing the rides….
Truck got a full detail…using my entire Adam’s arsenal.
Process: hand wash with crap.
Dried with adams detail spray and great white towels. Polished with adams brilliant glaze and yellow hex app. Waxed with adams butter wax and americana pad. All plastic and tires: svrt and black app. All metal polished with adams #2 metal polish, blue hex pads, and brilliant glaze. Fuel cell hit with Adam’s #1, blue 4” pads, a drill, and some and brilliant glaze. Whole truck rubbed down with a crap load of adams ss towels.
Del’s stang only got a wash and a drying using some Adam’s detail spray. Then I hit wheels with some wheel cleaner and some Brilliant Glaze. Tires got SVRT love:
