Anyone familier with Aero Turbine mufflers?

I'm really liking the sound if these more and more. Especially after the video Scarber (roughly remember his name lol) posted of it on his nnbs rcsb. But these are my top choice as of now, followed by spintech prostreet 6000 or borla xr-1. just got some nub questions since Google didn't help a lot..

im trying to decide whether to get the 3030 (not resonated) or the 3030XL (resonated). Is there a noticeable difference in sound or drone between the two? and if i dump over rear axle will it increase the drone compared to stock rear exit behind the tire?

well this is the pro street 6000, doesnt sound too raspy. kinda shitty vid but didnt find much with GMs. and that tatumarina guy has some pretty fast, shitty quality vids loll

but Aero is deff my #1 choice. i love the sound and the design of it is great too. just need a little moar info

Luckily for you, as of today in fact, I had it redone from being ran out behind the rear tire like stock to being dumped over the axle with a 5" tip. I went from loving this thing to hating it. IDK how to describe it, it almost doesn't sound like a v8 anymore unless WOTing. It sounded really good and had no drone with the stock setup, I just got tired of cleaning the tip all the time.

I may try just dumping it before the axle since it still hardly has any drone still.

ah i did get the name right haha i watched your vid several times, loving it. and so what are ya saying, over time it lost its mean sound with the stock tailpipe placement? so you just dumped it over the axle to change it up? howd that turn out

let me just tell you, exhausts sound very diff in person lol, as well as from cold start, to driving once warmed up.

i was throwing back and forth 3030 and dynomax bullet. after a billion videos, went with bullet. sounds nothing like i thought it would from videos, much quieter.

almost is non existent at idle once warm, but very loud and rumbles at cold start up in morning, sounds like i thought it would, until truck warms up, gets more quiet.

sounds great around town driving, and has zero drone on highway, almost again cannot hear.

still sounds good and i like dont get me wrong, but was mis led by videos of cold start sounds.

And I always thought the bullet was a louder muffler with decent drone. From the view I've seen I never would a thought it would be how you described

But anyone know my OP questions? Lol I heard dumping over the axle does increase drone a little bit, but not a whole lot correct? My main thing is the resonator or not now

No it never changed exhaust tone from installation when it exited at the stock location. When I decided to change it up and dump it over the axle with a 5" tip is when it changed for the worse.

love my bullet dumped over axle into 6" tip, it's tucked up higher than usual so it doesnt drone as much and bounce off the ground plus im lifted. Cold startups sound the best on this setup IMO

That does sound nice lol my rear will be stock z71 height so more prone to drone then ya.

the bullets are kinda loud from what I've seen, but is it that loud to the point where it could wake neighbors or for adults to get pissy about? Or is it a nice sound that doesn't have all that loud noise?

I'm looking for a muffler right now for my truck.
