99-02 Top Pad on 03-06 bumper

Has anyone tried this or can tell me if it fits or can easily be modified to fit?

Doubt it, curve of the two are different. Plus the 99-02 cap raises up at the ends to meet the bumper and the center is flat . The 03-07 caps are flat at the ends and has an indentation in the middle for the grille.

I know the two pads are different, but the bumper doesn't really look different unless the curve is that far off that it just won't work. The differences in the top pads don't matter because if it works, it'd be on a 99-02 truck

That does help actually. Looks like the curve is quite different. Damn. I just wonder how difficult it'd be to make it work. Wouldn't know unless I had both and could try it I guess.
