just picked this up the other day. my first truck. couldn't afford all the options at the time, but that wasn't a bad thing cause i am used to doing upgrades myself. i was wondering if anyone had advice on kits or how-to's to adding fog lights to this. thinking of cutting the valance, but as to mounting brackets or wiring, don't know. any help would be greatly appreciated

here's the front

and side profile (lowering it soon)

you can try to get some LED light bars and use them for the fogs. the lower valance if the fogs are in there. you may be able to buy the factory housing and wire it yourself.

i hate adding that stuff without a factory switch.

Only problem with new fog lights are they ate built in to the bumper, not just a section.thinking led's in the valance, and maybe run them to the parking lights.flip the switch to parking and have them come on.would be on full time during headlights as well, but not on during daytime running

How much are you lowering? I'd hate to see you put a couple hundred dollars worth of LEDs in your valence then rip it off when you a possum.

doing a 2" spindle drop front, and a 3.25" drop back (shackles and removing block). not too much of a drop, but a little lower. And in Southern California, i'm more likely to hit a squirrel or cat than anything else.

Make an intro thread. Your avatar pic intrigues me.

truck is mainly a street cruiser. like to have more light and just to have the option. was thinking of doing HID's, but i would retro fit or get aftermarket headlights first cause i'm not a jerk blinding everyone.

question about OEM fogs, wouldn't i have to get a brand new bumper as they are recessed into it, and possibly new switch inside?

New bumper and fog switch. Everything should be simple and straight forward. Aftermarket fogs look like shit in my opinion. You could possibly find someone who might trade bumpers.

Well is ur lower bumper one piece if so yes but if not if it's 3 like mine u just need to outside pieces, and as far as hid I have them and the aren't retrofited I run 55w 8k which makes a super white with little blue, maybe it's just my housings but they don't shoot out the sides like most , retrofited headlights are overpriced and mostly to much crap on them ,that's cool hope to see pic update
