I prefer auto. With the amount I drive, fuck that. And traffic sucks in our area. I'm sure manuals are a blast. But the majority of guys who have daily'ed a manual for years in areas like these always state they would love to get an auto next. Plus, a stalled auto can be fun...
I've admitted that before, if I didn't live in BFIA where I'm only a mile from the edge of town and it's only a town of 3500 I probably wouldn't like my 6 speed as much. I have a 13 mile commute that takes me 15 minutes so manual is awesome here.
A seized caliper ruining my new pads and rotor...my next car will be new with a warranty. That's for sure.
