Hi, new to the site. Trading in my 06 colorado for a 2013 1500 ina few weeks and my plans are to drop it as low as i can get it. Maxh15 on instagram sent me to this forum to get info lol. I was looking at the 4/7 drop kits by belltech but was woundering what you guys thought was the best starter and lowest starter at that. Thanks in advance, cant wait till i make the buy official :lemon:

Definitely go 4/7...plenty of ways to get there for sure. Go to the lowering tech section and there is a sticky at the top that will tell you most of your options and I'm sure plenty of people will chime in when they see this.

Also when you go to buy, hit up one of our vendors, usually a better deal than ordering from a major retailer.

Oh and welcome to the site :shake:

I have a '13 Sierra extended cab. I have a 6 inch drop in front and 8.5 inch drop in back. I have it notched and installed air shocks. I used belltech spindles, strut relocator and a notch on the strut to lower it and extra inch. Out back I have a flip and notch with shackles.

Personally I thought the tires were a tad too big for the drop, as far as the look. So I went to 275/45/20 and this is what it looked like with new tires and 5/7 drop with air shocks with no air.
