And I have been ruthless on my truck since it's been dropped.

Sucks chris, but glad you caught it before it fell off

No doubt! We made sure it was on there real good and with plenty of locktite but I guess over time it worked it's way loose. Like you said, just glad I caught it. Definitely was close to falling off lol

Well shit bro, there's ya problem.

hey chris have you looked into getting some of the McGaughy's shock extensions coupled with a set of bilsteins

I haven't. I had extenders on my first set of shocks but left them off this set and a buddy ended up using them and cutting them up to use on a NBS. Beginning to think I should have kept them on. I've never looked into bilsteins either. You have any experience with this set up?

Ah gotcha man, guess I need to look into it more. Definitely need to replace these shocks when I get some income coming in...

On a positive note, got this thing the other day thanks to a special delivery by BayouSam!

So I just got done going through all 26 pages of your thread and I gotta say, nice job Smith! My 13 RCSB Sierra is almost the same model as yours, except mine has a 4.8L and no onstar. Like you, I've been wanting to do up my truck the way I want to but sadly, life happens and plans change. All I've been able to do is take the badges off, tint the windows, and install some 2" lowering shackles :bawl: and I also for a lil while was thinking of trading it in for something bigger but I decided to keep it since I'm using it to build up some credit and because it has value to me now you know? I'm starting a new, better job soon anyway so maybe now I'll have some extra cash to spend on it. Anyway, great thread and I hope everything works out for you and you get to build up your ride like you planned, I'll be following :wavey:

Just saw your comment man. Appreciate the kind words and good luck with yours :shake:

Finally took care of the problem I had with the Denali lights fogging up. Siliconed the backs and haven't had a single issue now through a good few rain storms. We'll see when it gets cold out though...

Basically put a good bead all the way around then spread it down with my finger. No one else really ever said how they did it other than a guy on facebook so I figured I'd wing it. Like i said, been working well. Wish I'd have done it sooner so I wouldn't have a few water spots on the inside the lens.

you planning on keeping this and having a g8, or thinking about getting rid of this?

I'm honestly 100% undecided at the moment on that. A lot of factors to think about. I enjoy it and want to see it bagged but it not my "dream" ride so I don't know how much money I really want to sink into it and if I sell it when/if I get a G8 Id get more money than if I keep holding onto it.

Also been trying to track down one of my dads old cars I was suppose to get when I got my license but he sold it to finish our house. If I could get my hands back on it to fix up again with him the truck would be gone no question about it.

There's only one right answer to that question....

And that answer is....
