Got rid of the 14 rcsb, and got something with a lil more room, and in all honesty i missed the gmt-800 plat form.

heres the start, found a single owner 2006 CCSB with a 5.3 and 118k miles on the clock.

right when i brought it home

first thing was to remove that ugly bug deflector

then i had to see how it towed, but forgot the pick of my tool boxes in the trailer.

plans are color match, 5/7-8 drop on 22's, and just going to drive it.

i've got a few things to do first, it needs a CAI, the factory box has a hole in the lid that i patched with duct tape for now, and it needs brakes, think the old man that had it rode the brakes alot cause the front brakes shimmy and have a massive lip around the edge

Yea the black chrome isn't bad looking but your color needs regular chrome.

I bought those rims in Chrome 22". I'll upload pics when the rubber shows up if that helps with your decision. I was stuck between the two choices aswell ha

hows a 5/7 for drivable?

powerstop rotors and ebs green stuff pads, unfortunately i bought the truck from one of those half assed dealers, they only turned one drum on the rear and it had new shoes on each side, then thr front brakes were even worse, one side the pads measured 8mm and the rotor was in good shape, but the other side the pads were ar 3mm and the rotor was grooved to shit. needless to say after turning both drums and adjusting the rear drums along with the new brakes up front its a night and day difference in stopping power
