Hey guys I'm trying to see if anyone has or knows of anyone who has done a reg cab short bed Denali? Looking to do it to mine just wanted to get some help on how to do it. I've heard ill have to get the Denali rebar and bumper cover, grille and parking lights. Can anyone tell me if the Denali rebar is needed or does the gmc already have it? And this is for an 04 gmc. Just let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

You will need the Denali bumper bar and bumper cover. And since you have a 04 you will have to cut your frame horns off and weld on some 99-02 frame horns, since that's what the Denali bumper bolts up to. Then you will also need the Denali grill, turn signals, and headlights. (Headlights are optional, your existing headlights will physically fit).

Hey Gr$$n$ you may have seen on the "other" forum I'm doing the Denali conversion on my 2000. I have a couple questions...

Did you need the outer braces and if so will the stock ones work?

Did you use the three fillers between the cover and grill? If not, were you happy with the way it looked or would recommend buying them? Oh and are the small end fillers just black or color keyed?

I have the cover, grill and paint, just waiting on the re-bar, fogs and parking lamps. If there's anything else you'd recommend I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Going to look good Red! A little bit of color matching was all your truck needed. Decided to go over the top and not just colormatch but completely change it up

1. Did you use the fillers # 5 & 9

2. Did you use the outer braces # 7

3. What is # 8 used for and do I need more than one

I have the small fasteners and the fogs figured out. Is there anything in the schematic that you didn't need?

I appreciate your help on this!

Thanks Man! :shake:

I found the filler (#5) for $87

One more question and I'll have it clear in my head:

The outer brace # 7 do I need to buy these, or even need them, or will my sierra outer braces work?

I was able to match the 99-02 sierra's outer brace(s) part number to the 2002 Denali... Their the same number. This saves about $55
