02 Yukon xl 2wd clunk

My grandmas Yukon xl
Has a clunk when going in to gear and when reapplying throttle sometimes under 40ish mph. Ujoint don't have any play, only noticeable in the yoke to the trans. Any suggestions? I figured ujoints were out of the picture so I've thought about replacing that yoke. Thanks

Balljoints look good? A friend had a clunk and it was a bad balljoint.

Try packing the slip yoke splines heavily with grease, then reinstall the drive shaft. That will keep it quiet for a while if it is indeed the slip yoke causing the clunk. And by a while, I mean a few years. I have to regrease mine about every 2-3 years or so.

She had a Chrysler 300m before this, and loves the 5.3. Wouldn't doubt if she has lol.

did the trick for a couple months on my tr0k but I didnt go crazy with it either.
